La parete di roccia calcarea sulla cui cima si erge il paese di Norma, è una delle falesie più note del Lazio, vicina a Roma e con un breve avvicinamento, Norma è regolarmente frequentata da diversi scalatori (se potete, evitate le sovraffollate domeniche). Sviluppata per buona parte in verticale e con diversi strapiombi dalla roccia rossa, Norma è senz'altro una falesia tecnica: aree più frastagliate si alternano ad ampie placche appena appoggiate oppure aggettanti che non lasciano altre speranze al di fuori di piccole e distanziate tacche, se siete in cerca di "pane" per le vostra dita, siete nel luogo giusto. Non mancano le occasioni per ascese atletiche e più muscolari grazie ai diversi strapiombi rossi. Per l'avvicinamento: prima di raggiungere il paese di Norma e dopo aver proseguito a sinistra al bivio con Bassiano, si incontra una prima piazzola dove parcheggiare e altre più piccole a seguire. Premetto di non essere esperto non scalando da molto, ma credo che una recensione possa essere d'aiuto per evitare future sventure. Fare attenzione al settore "Rave"!! Siamo stati a Norma fuori stagione (all'incirca un mese fa), ma ciò non giustifica affatto lo stato della falesia ma soprattutto del "sentiero" per raggiungerla. L'avvicinamento, durato circa 20 minuti, è stato infatti un vero incubo tra piante grasse e distese di rovi. Una volta arrivati ai piedi delle vie non abbiamo trovato altro che rifiuti di ogni tipo e altre erbacce. Tutto ciò ha reso impossibile anche un semplice approccio alla via più semplice. Sconsigliatissima!!
